Description
The new Phoenix Systems Power-Ject works like other Phoenix Injectors except it is pneumatically operated, eliminating hand fatigue. Operate the Power-Ject with the push of a button to flush or bleed any hydraulic system. The Power-Ject will perform all known bleeding and flushing methods (see Users Manual). The Power-Ject can generate about 45 PSI using an 80 PSI pressure source (maximum recommended pressure is 100 PSI). Pressure settings as low as 40 PSI will only cause the Injector to actuate and fill more slowly. Since the Power-Ject can operate at low pressure, a 40+ PSI vehicle tire can be used as the pressure source. Using a 245/75-R16 tire, 50 Power-Ject injections lowered the tire pressure by 3 PSI. This arrangement will not contaminate brake fluid since the air from the tire is isolated from the brake fluid. An in-line regulator can be utilized to fine tune injection delivery speeds.
(NOTE: in-line regulator is not included in the Power-Ject package)
